1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Farowen! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Farowen, a fantasy dungeon adventure developed by Cinder Code LLC ("Cinder Code," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Farowen, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Farowen. Your use of the game is also subject to any applicable terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. License and Permitted Use

Cinder Code grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Farowen for lawful, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit Farowen or its content without permission.

You may not reverse engineer, modify, circumvent security or purchase systems, or interfere with the operation of Farowen, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

All rights not expressly granted remain with Cinder Code or its licensors.

3. Gameplay and Progress

Farowen is a single-player fantasy adventure featuring dungeon exploration, spellcasting, gathering, crafting, quests, and character progression.

Game progress, inventory, equipment, spells, quests, checkpoints, and settings are primarily stored locally on your device.

Farowen does not provide cloud saving for campaign progress. Deleting the app, clearing app data, switching devices, hardware failure, or software issues may result in lost progress.

While we strive to maintain reliable saving and gameplay, Cinder Code cannot guarantee that all locally stored progress will remain available or recoverable.

4. Free Content and Optional Purchases

Farowen allows players to explore Floors 1–16 for free. An optional one-time Full Access purchase permanently unlocks progression beyond Floor 16.

Full Access is not a subscription. Prices are displayed in your local currency through the applicable app store before you purchase.

Payments, taxes, billing, refunds, and purchase eligibility are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their applicable terms and policies.

Full Access can generally be restored through the game's Restore Purchases feature using the store account that originally purchased it, subject to store availability and purchase verification.

Starting a new game does not remove a valid Full Access entitlement. Purchases are tied to the applicable app store account and platform rules; cross-platform purchase transfers are not guaranteed.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights provided by applicable consumer law.

5. Privacy, Analytics, and Crash Reporting

Farowen is designed to use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand gameplay balance, evaluate feature usage, diagnose technical problems, and improve reliability.

These services may process limited pseudonymous usage events, installation-level identifiers, and technical diagnostic information when enabled in supported builds.

Farowen does not require user accounts and contains no advertisements. We do not use gameplay information to build personalized advertising profiles.

Our collection, use, sharing, and retention of information are described in the Farowen Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

Farowen may rely on third-party services, including Apple, Google Play, and Google Firebase, for app distribution, payment processing, purchase restoration, analytics, and crash reporting.

These services operate independently of Cinder Code and may experience outages, interruptions, changes, or discontinuation.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the independent actions or availability of those services, except as required by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

Farowen, including its artwork, animations, music, sound effects, characters, game systems, software, text, designs, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Cinder Code LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing Full Access or unlocking content through gameplay grants access to the game experience but does not transfer ownership of Farowen or its intellectual property.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Farowen's protected content without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Farowen lawfully and not engage in activities that interfere with its operation or the services supporting it.

Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting unauthorized access to app systems or services.
• Introducing malicious code or intentionally disrupting the app.
• Circumventing purchase verification or security protections.
• Falsifying or manipulating analytics, crash reports, or technical systems.
• Using Farowen or its content in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

These restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Game Updates and Availability

We may release updates to improve Farowen, correct bugs, rebalance gameplay, add or modify content, improve security, or maintain compatibility with devices and operating systems.

Updates may change spells, equipment, creatures, progression, difficulty, rewards, mechanics, or other gameplay features.

Some updates may require installing the latest version to continue using certain functionality. We cannot guarantee that particular features, content, or third-party services will remain unchanged or available indefinitely.

We may suspend or discontinue parts of Farowen when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable consumer rights and legal obligations.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

Farowen is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We work to provide a reliable and enjoyable experience, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, compatibility with every device, or permanent preservation of local game progress.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinder Code LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Farowen.

These disclaimers and limitations do not exclude or restrict warranties, consumer protections, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Farowen, its features, third-party services, applicable laws, or business operations.

When changes are made, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and provide additional notice when required by law.

Continued use after revised Terms become effective may indicate acceptance where legally permitted. If you disagree with updated Terms, you may stop using Farowen.

Nothing in this section overrides rights or protections granted by applicable law.
